A complete marketing campaign was created for the Indy Jazz Fest in 2008. I designed the logo for the festival and assisted in developing all other supporting materials in the campaign. The festival organizers asked we try not to use any recognizable imagery from any of the festival's performers. We responded with a design that could be carried on strong illustration and typography inspired by the jazz vernacular. A highlight of the campaign was a commerorative, collectable poster that was designed and hand-printed on a letterpress by myself and a colleague over a weekend at historic Hatch Show Print in Nashville, Tennessee.
